The Dragino SDI-12-NB/NS is an SDI-12 to NB-IoT Converter designed for Smart Agriculture solutions.
SDI-12 (Serial Digital Interface at 1200 baud) is an asynchronous serial communications protocol for intelligent sensors that monitor environmental data. The SDI-12 protocol is widely used in both Agricultural sensors and Weather Station sensors.
The SDI-12-NB/NS has an SDI-12 interface and supports 12v output to power external SDI-12 sensors. It can receive the environmental data from the SDI-12 sensor and send out the data via the NB-IoT wireless protocol.
The SDI-12-NB/NS supports different uplink methods including MQTT, MQTTs, UDP & TCP for different application requirements, and supports uplinks to various IoT Servers.
The SDI-12-NB/NS supports BLE configuration and OTA updates which makes the device easy to use.
The SDI-12-NB/NS is powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery or solar panel + Li-ion battery designed for long-term us.
The SDI-12-NB/NS has an optional built-in SIM card and default IoT server connection version. Which makes configuration more simple.
